As a teen, one piece of advice my mother would always give me was to take care of my hands 'You can tell the age of a woman by looking at her hands' And as a teen, I didn't really listen if I'm honest. Come on, which teen does?
However as I've gotten older, I have taken my mothers advice on board and have finally discovered two products that work amazing at keeping my hands young looking and super soft.
Sanctuary Spa hand and cuticle cream, and Lush Lemony flutter cuticle butter.
I use both products each morning and each evening before I head to bed, and have to say that I've noticed a vast improvement in the condition of my hands.
First, I dampen my hands and apply a pea sized amount on the Sanctuary Spa hand and cuticle cream, massage it into my hands a little and rinse it off with warm water. The hand and cuticle cream is a thick white cream with particles of sand in it. So not only does it moisturise, but it exfoliates and dead or dry skin.
I follow this step with Lush's Lemony flutter cuticle butter. This is a thick creamy formula which does leave the skin feeling a little oily. However, because it works miracles for me, I can overlook this. A small amount goes a long way, so this tub is sure to last some months for me. The smell is the most amazing scent ever, it smells just like lemon drops!
I can't live without this little duo now, and would highly recommend to any one who suffers from dry hands.
