When it comes to packing, whether that be a suitcase or handbag, I don't pack light. I always feel that if I don't carry something around with me, the day will come when I actually need said product and I won't have it with me.
I recently bought myself a new make up bag, and forced myself to severely reduce the amount of beauty items I carry around with me.
Here are the things I deem essentials:
* Perfume. I always have to have a perfume with me, a little spritz every now and then throughout the day is essential to me. My current favourite, is YSL Black Opium.
* Hand cream. My hands get so dry so quick, so hand cream is pretty much the first beauty item I make sure I have in my bag.
* Tangle teaser. Let's face it, nobody wants to looked windswept do they?
* Face powder. In all honesty, since I started to use this foundation, I don't feel the need to re-powder throughout the day. However, if I didn't carry it then you just know I'd look like an oil slick.
* Lipstick. My lipstick of choice changes on a daily basis, but it's an item I have to pop into my make up bag. Touch ups are a must when it comes to lipstick.
